More about me

I am a scientist and writer who lives and works in San Diego, California. With over 20 years of laboratory experience I have been a part of a number of dream projects. I was able to work towards a cure for multiple sclerosis for my PhD and later work to help resuscitate the critically endangered Northern White Rhino. Throughout my career I have always been interested in the field of science communication. I am also deeply interested in using fiction to drive interest towards traditional science.

Education

I received a B.S. degree in Biology from California State University at Fullerton. I later received a PhD in Biology for defending my thesis, “Regenerative medicine and multiple sclerosis; towards clinical intervention

Writing

I have written numerous drabbles, flash fiction stories and short stories. My most notable body of work was in my series of self published comic books “Kevin the Drunk Jedhi.”

Pets and other animals

I have a dog named Buddy, who is the best boy. We also have a number of other creatures, from hawks to bunnies and lizards who live in our yard
